We do a fair amount of actor and modeling headshots. Some for portfolios and some just a single headshot to update a look. If you have a fairly recent book then you may only need 1 or two images to bring it unto date. However if you’ve changed your look or haven’t had images taken in awhile (like 3 or more years) it’s probably time to get a new series of images created for your portfolio.

What types of images should you include? It’s always best to include some images that are formal (long formal dress for women, suit and tie for men) some semi casual) slacks and a blouse for women, casual pants and shirt for men) and some completely casual (jeans and long sleeve polo or seaters for either). This will help you show a broad range of looks. If you are an actor you want to show off your various personas.

Lately we've done a number of teen actors as well as models. Some are just wetting their toes in the world of modeling and want a few headshots. Others, like the sisters above, have been to auditions, received a positive callback and need a number of images to create a portfolio. Whatever your need we can help you create compelling images. 

Many who come to us don't have that much experience and need help with posing. We know pretty much what most agencies are looking for and can assist you in this area. It does help however if you have an acting coach or talent agency you work with to let us know their preferences. The final product is a digital image (or package of images) that you can use online or to get prints made. Most agencies are looking for digital but a few still ask for prints.
