Decorating With Your Family Portraits

Once you've made the decision to have a portrait created now you need to decide what to do with it. Of course you'll want to get some gift prints made to give to family and friends, maybe a desktop image for your office. But what should you do with your larger portraiture? Most people would decorate their home or office with pieces of art, but what better art is there than portraits of your own family?

What to do with your Art?

Before you schedule your portrait session you need to connect with us for a no cost portrait consultation. We will discuss your vision for your final artwork. What size should it be? Framed, unframed contemporary metal? or Canvas? Where will ithang? These are just a few questions you will need to resolve before the session.

We will work with you to achieve color harmony for your portrait. Likewise if it's black and white we will assist you in finding a suitable location to hang your work. Once you've determined where you will most likely hang your art this is where clothing and frame styles come into play. Carefully chosen clothing and background elements will help enhance your rooms décor. You'd hate to go to the work and investment of having a portrait made only to have it clash with your home's color scheme.

We have some pretty cool software that will help you visualize what your art will look like in your home before you purchase. That way you can be sure that the image size (or sizes) is correct.  With a couple of quick photos taken by you of your home we can help you plan the right location for your art.

Custom portraiture is an investment. Why not celebrate your family with a fine art portrait of them in your home?
