Why Hire A Pro?

Not everyone with a high end camera is a professional and unfortunately not everyone who claims to be a professional is one, or at least acts like one. It’s the same in many businesses. That’s why we believe in being part of professional organizations like Professional Photographers of America and obtaining certification through them.

A good professional photographer will most likely not be inexpensive. Again, just like in other industries when you want the best you have to pay for it. That’s not to say we don’t offer some nice deals from time to time for our best customers.

People try to get a deal to save money. We get that. We’re not suggesting that you come in for a high end custom portrait session every month. If you wanted to we would most likely suggest that you don’t, Why? Because we feel that custom photography is worth it and would rather see you save your hard earned money for a nice piece of art than to come in and purchase just one small print.

But back to the deal thing. Just be careful. If something sounds too good to be true it usually is. Just this week I had a return client who had previously tried saving money by taking her young child to another local photographer running an incredible coupon deal. Well let’s just say that the deal was too good to be true and that they were less than satisfied with the end results. They confessed that they just should have waited to return here to the studio. Will all professionals be this way? Not necessarily but most true professional photographers that I know have not only incredible talent but great customer service as well.

You can cut corners in many industries but you get what you pay for. Do I mind that my customer went elsewhere seeking a deal? Not really as they, like many others will often return when they want really good portraiture.
